OS 3.0 beta available for testing

Hi all!

John Bickerstaff here.  Among other things, one of the iPhone developers for WordPress.

We’re pleased to announce that the WordPress iPhone App (OS 3.0) beta is available for testing.  At this point, an XCode dev environment is necessary to compile and run the beta.

We’d love your feedback and (of course) appreciate hearing about any issues you find.

Please use SVN version 330 from Trunk as the version for testing.

    Its times like these that I wish I had an iPhone to post to my blogs from. Keep up the good work guys, and I hope the beta reaches final as soon as it can so everyone can enjoy it.

    the one issue i found with the IPHONE was i couldnt copy and paste information and finally their is firmware to do this.

    I hope this new version solves the xml-rpc error. Some of us still can’t setup our blog or post with this app.

    Any word on whether or not the new version will fix the photo uploading errors that seem to be plaguing many self-hosted WordPress users? (please reply to me by email if at all possible, thanks)

    It seems that WordPress iPhone App 3.0 won’t connect to WordPress 2.7. I upgraded my blog to WordPress 2.8 and it connects just fine.

    Currently the images are displayed in reverse order. The last image added is displayed first.

    Works fine for me in iPhone Simulator 3.0.

    Look forward to the final release after today’s OS 3.0 update. I use this app so much when I am away from my computer to manage my multiple blogs.

    The final release is awsome 10 out of 10 it works great on my modified car club website i have themed wordpess with phpbb and its great with a html front end.

    iphone app is a great addon well recomended
